VR naval firefighter training
Our suite of naval scenarios is designed to mirror real-life situations on various vessels such as navy destroyers, frigates, and even aboard aircraft like the NH90 helicopter. These scenarios range from galley fires to complex electrical fires in passageways and critical compartment blazes that require swift and strategic firefighting skills.
Galley fire scenario
In a cramped ship’s galley, trainees tackle a fat fire, where quick thinking and expert hose handling are vital. Understanding the correct extinguishing medium and mastering the dangers of electrical fires are fundamental outcomes of this scenario.

Passageway electrical fire scenario
Trainees must demonstrate procedural knowledge by isolating power before engaging an electrical fire within a ship’s corridor. This scenario teaches the importance of following protocol to prevent escalation.
Sleeping compartment fire scenario
Confronted with a fire in the confines of a sleeping compartment, trainees learn to prioritize attacks while managing resources and understanding the critical aspect of ventilation in such enclosed spaces.

Navy destroyer engine room fire
An Arleigh Burke-class destroyer presents a large-scale engine room fire, where trainees use foam and smothering techniques while adhering to naval firefighting procedures and managing communication with command.
NH90 helicopter crash scenarios
A series of scenarios involving an NH90 helicopter crash test trainees in various situations – from hangar fires requiring foam cannon operation to torpedo cooling under fire conditions. These scenarios emphasize aircraft firefighting techniques and the importance of managing armament risks.
