Connect to a Data Server (Trainer)
To connect a Trainer unit to your organisation's Capture account, you will need to ensure the iPad is connected to a specific Capture data server. You only need to make this connection once and the iPad will remember your selection. If you're unsure which data server location to select, please contact the Customer Success team to confirm.
This should be configured during your onboarding process. Capture data, which includes all simulation performance metrics, are stored on designated servers dependent on your organisation's data location preference. The available options are Australia, UK/EU, and UAE.
Set the data server
- Launch the iPad app and navigate to the main instructor screen.
- Select the Settings button on the toolbar.
- Select the Capture server dropdown.
Note: If your system displays 'Australia' in the dropdown, continue with the following steps. - Select the data server, either Australia, UK or UAE.
- Select the option Restart FLAIM System on the left hand side. Then, to return to the main instructor screen, select the yellow Trainer Simulation box in the bottom left hand corner.
