Standard use

Restart FLAIM System
- Reboot Trainer, including the Trainer PC, the iPad application, and the VR Headset.
About FLAIM
Select language
- Choose the language preference for the iPad application.
Save AAR Files to USB
- Export the After Action Review files to a USB that is plugged into the Trainer Hose Reel.

Configuration

Select simulation version
- Change which Trainer software version the iPad application is connecting to. This must be changed following a software update.
Units
- Toggle between Metric & Imperial.
Visor Effects
- Toggle between Off & On. Visor Effects include foggy vision, visor splatter.
Teams
- Toggle On for Teams to be available on the system.
Region
- Use the drop-down list to determine the geographical region for the unit.
Lock teams to organisation only
- Check the box to disable external access to your Teams sessions. This includes removing access by FLAIM Customer Success, which may impact support.
Capture server
- Use the drop-down menu to determine the connected Capture server – this must be correct to connect Student information and access Course content.

Important: Only engage with these settings under the direction of FLAIM Customer Success.

Reconnect SCBA
- Use only if the Hose Reel PC has lost connection to the SCBA.
Reconnect Nozzle
- Use only if the Hose Reel PC has lost connection to the Nozzle.
Reconnect Heat Vest
- Use only if the Hose Reel PC has lost connection to the Heat Vest.
Reconnect Heart Rate
- Use only if the Hose Reel PC has lost connection to the Armband Heart Rate Monitor.

Calibrate Nozzle
- Steps the user through testing the different functions of the Branch / Nozzle. Please note, once the process is started, it must be completed.
Maximum Heat Value
- Use the drop-down menu to determine the temperature limit of the Heat Vest. For best results, FLAIM recommends keeping the Heat Value at 40℃.
